GFI couldn't close the relatively simple refinance of my home. They couldn't keep their promises on rate or closing costs. I paid upfront prior to receiving a good faith estimate. The next GFE I saw was at closing, and all of the terms were incorrect - on top of which they expected me to bring $5000 to closing (it was supposed to be "minimal or no" closing costs). Could not reach anyone/sporadic by phone...by email...the one guy who was handling my loan quit halfway through the process. No accountability, no customer service.

I seriously wonder whether the people who work there are licensed or have any idea what they're doing. This wasn't my first refinance, so I'm familiar with the processes. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a shell company. Pack of thieves I tell you.
