I received an ad, I assumed by an affiliate trying to refer people to working with Google in some sort of affiliate program. They stated in the ad that if you want to get more information about this program just send them $1.97 for shipping you the information. That would be reasonable to anyone. So I did.

Then all of a sudden I saw a charge pending in my bank account for $72.21. I had no idea how that charge got there so I started checking it out. Two days later I see a charge that did go through for a$1.97 from the same people and I knew then who it was.

When I called them, they said I had agreed to the terms and conditions (which I never saw). Therefore, they will only give back half of the amount on hold. which would be $36.10. I told him that would not be good enough that I expect it all. They refused. I will not hold my breath to see if I get half back before ten days.
