In april of 09 I had Ives techs come to sweep my chimney.In the process they informed me that I had problems and needed a chimney liner.I had the work performed at a substantial cost to me . A year later I had another chimney tech come to clean the chimney for the winter . As a result when he began the task he inserted his broom into the chimney and came up with the liner I had previously had installed. It seems that after having my chimney inspected again the Ives techs never hooked the liner up to my burner. What they did was to simply drop a piece of cheap liner into my chimney. As a result my house and body have been subjected to possible danger this past year and their is also soot damage through the whole house as a result of this callous act. At this time it is going to cost me an even greater amount of money to rectify the problem the Ives Corp caused.
