I received a call today at noon after placing an order online yesterday afternoon for today's delivery. The representative indicated that in addition to my $35 order I would also be required to pay an additional $19 because the area was "more expensive than usual and the local florist would not deliver an arrangement under $55" – noting in addition that “honest” florist also agreed to “pick up” $6 of the delivery fee. I could not begin to understand how $35 + $6 (“pick up by “honest” florist”) + my additional requested $19 is only the minimum…and not, of course, in excess at $60 – for a very small arrangement. Upon my request for why this would not have been reflected in the price displayed online prior to purchase I was told that this was impossible (note that I order flowers ever year to this zip code and have NEVER received this type of response especially AFTER I would have expected that the flowers would have already been delivered). My order was for a school delivery for a birthday today, which is now impossible due to the incompetence of this organization. I was so displeased that I instead chose to call the local florist directly and guess what…I successfully placed an order today with a net cost of under $55. I would NEVER use the services of “Honest”florist.com . PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID AND ORDER FROM THIS VENDOR AS YOU WILL BE SORRY!
