Had laptop less than 30 days. already had to take a defective one back. then used for 2 wks, closed the computer LCD (did not drop or fling or slam) only to open it up and find blobs and lines all over the screen. I have the xtra service protection but I was told no refunds because it was over 14 days and no where did I see or was I informed by Office Depot this was there policy. I was actually told by a supervisor, Scott, at the Protection Plan to keep it in bubble wrap when transporting...Is this bizzare or what?
Anyway I have contacted my Visa Credit Card company to dispute this transaction. So for you consumers out there DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS. I found out from a former worker that HP uses parts from other failed computers so your not really getting a "Brand New" computer but one made up of parts of failed units. BUYER BEWARE...without the xtra protection plan I would be screwed, hook, line and sinker. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN AN OFFICE DEPOT NOR WILL I EVER GET HP PRODUCTS OF ANY NATURE. Now I am stuck with junk. Please Beware...
