Hughes net did not work at all in our area. It was pitifully slow and would not even connect to my server at work to download e-mail. I called to cancel service and got someone named Jeff who was very very rude. He wants to charge $400 termination fees as well as I have to ship the equipment back to Maryland. He would not let me talk to a manager and would not even give his last name. He basically hung up saying tuff stuff. I then received about 50 e-mails meant to confuse me about some equipment return manual being on backorder (even though you only have 20 days to return the equipment or you get to pay for it).

Hughes Net is a crooked company and I will never deal with them again and I intend to campaign against them at any and every opportunity.
