I have these guys in my house right now, and it's been nothing but a painful process. I too used the coupon from Clipper Magazine only to learn that it didn't cover what they needed to do. I was able to negotiate down to $287, which they told me was nothing because the people before me spent almost $700. I felt so taken advantage of and frustrated. I called my husband and put them on the phone with him. It definitely seemed strange that they would have to cut holes in our vents - 3 big holes - but I don't know if that's the process or not. I felt like a very ill-informed consumer and will do a lot more homework next time. Needless to say, I won' t be using their services again.
