Scammers
I Used this Intelius for 2 reverse phone look up's $4.95 & $5.95 on 11/10/09 & low & behold I was automatically hooked up with Value Max & Twenty 4 protect, Charged my Acct $24.95 x 2 Value max & Twenty 4 Protect are the same Company. WHAT A SUPRISE THIS WAS, Plus a charge for $19.95 from ID Protect, I found out that ID Protect is the same Company as Intelius. So BEWARE that $10.90 turned into $80.75 these additional charges all appeared at my Bank today 11/20/09 keep a look out if you have used this Inelius lately. I had to shut my Acct down & Re open because of this fraudulent company.

Credit Information
I gave these people my credit card information for a recent transaction and now I get these Email from businesses thanking me for my member ship and there charging my credit card. That information had to come from Intelius because that's the only time I ever used this particular card.

Charges from a company I never signed up for
I was just looking at the balance of my checking account when I noticed a withdrawal of 12.99 called "IDPROTECT, " a name I did not recognize. I called my bank and they told me that the company also billed me 12.99 last month. I never signed up for this. After some research I found that the company name is called Intelius. I contacted Intelius and they told me they couldn't help me because I did not have an account on their site. So now I am stuck dealing with these completely fraudulent charges from a company I never even KNEW about until today. I really would like this to be resolved somehow.

Intellius charged my credit cart $19.95 for nothing!
This company deserves a class action suit in my opinion. They charged my credit card $19.95 for nothing that I can find!! This is Saturday and when I called in to complain they are closed. I see there are other complaints so Monday I will call in and complain myself. These people should be put out of business. Who can we report this to to cause them to have to answer to someone??? I can see why they are closed on the weekend so they can spend the multiple $19.95's they collected from all the innocent people they cheated.

HUGE SCAM!!!
HUGE SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!!! I ordered a background check from them for $.95. They emailed me a confirmation that they will be charging my account for $.95 but failed to let me know that they will automatically sign me up for an Identity Theft Protection. They charged my account every month for $19.95 without my consent. They are more than happy to cancel the automatic charges as soon as you call and place the cancelation order; however, they refuse to refund all of the money that they unethically stole every month!!! They make their money from individuals who do not monitor their account regularly. Bottom line, they are hoping that you never look at your statement to realize that they are stealing $19.95 from your account.
The website is very misleading and is unclear that they will charge your account every month!!

SAVE YOUR SELF SOME HEAD ACE AND STAY AWAY!! THE INFORMATION THEY PROVIDE IS OUTDATED AS WELL!!!

Bank withdraw
I have had two charges to my bank account from SaveAce and ID Protect which is "Intelius". The first one I did not catch but the second one caught my eye so I went back in my records and found the other charge. Come to find out SaveAce got my card number from "Intelius" which is a company that will look up cell phone numbers. But when I did this some how SaveAce put there charge in and has been charging my account along with "Intelius" the company I agreed to have a contract with. So watch out for "Intelius" they must be some how tied to each other!!! Oh yea I got hooked up with Intelius through AT&T go figure AT&T must not know that they are in bed with a SCAM company that either gives your bank information or sells it??? I canceld both contracts, the one I knew about and the one I did not know about and hope I get some of my money back but not counting on it LOL!!!

Stole Money from My Account
Intelius has taken $10.95 out of my account for 10 mths and I can not get them to stop this. I did not authorize this monthly deduction and Im furious over it. I want it stoped and I want my money back!

Unauthorized charges
Paid for a one time phone look-up ($1.95) and then using the CR CD number for that service started getting billed $24.95 a month for a "Subscription Service" which was never authorized.

scam charges
Buyer BEWARE!! After using an Intelius.com service, I began getting charges of $19.95/mo and $24.95/mo from two ID protection companies who claimed I signed up for them at Intelius.com. One company ("Twenty-four Protect Plus") refunded the most recent month's charges but not the previous two months'. The other company ("ID Protect") refused to refund any charges from all 3 months. I have filed reports with my credit card company in the hopes that Intelius charges will be flagged to prevent this frustration for other customers. Check around online and you'll see how many people have been scammed like this.

unautorized payment
recently i recieved a payment on my statement from this company i called my bank that let me know this was and gave me a phone number luck i got a rep at the bank that offered a three way call to them we got them ont he phone and they cancelled so i thought a refund was refunded but the next month i had to do the same they had charged mt account once again and i never was this people ever before
