I bought an Ipod 4th Gen (serial number 6U838PU15B7) in October 2008. After little use it started having problems. The sound is distorted, singer`s voice does not even come out. I call the local help desk in Brazil (were I actually live - incident number 158363559) and they gave me the location for one of their service centers - Mac Centris (http://www.maccentris.com.br/). I took it there and they told there was nothing they could do. I told them that the service center sent me there to have a solution. They said, they always do that but the ipod has a problem with the ear jack and we do not have parts to repair so there is nothing we can do.

I am very dissapointed qith the apple quality, I always thought they would provide premium products and service, I guess I was wrong...
