Ira Woods & Sons has failed to ship a 6.5" Shun Classic Nakiri kitchen knife ordered more than 8 weeks ago. The original ship estimate on irawoods.com was listed at 48 hours. First complaint resulted in a response from customer service that the item would not ship for 2 weeks. More than 8 weeks and several complaints later, the company has "adjusted" the estimated ship date twice, refused 3 requests for a refund, and repeatedly avoided correcting what's become a very bad situation. My next step: contact my bank for remedy. Customer service representative have approached inquiries, in turn, with reckless disregard, obsequiousness, and outright deception. Avoid this vendor at all costs. No photos to upload here b/c no product ever arrived.
