responding to a RV sale on Craigs list, was told to go to Ebay because it was also listed on Ebay. Ebay confirmed, Ebay sent instructions, Ebay confirmed receipt of money and said item was being shipped all on Oct 19. No RV, no way to contact ebay by email, chat room, phone number and email to [email protected] have proven nil. He even represented himself as active duty military being sent to Afganistan and that was the reason for selling. I would have never followed instructions had I not had good dealings with Ebay in the past and had each step confirmed by email from Ebay, again using my username and email address each email sent.
