Land Registration Department in Panaji - GOA- (Thursday, January 14, 2010)

The Registrar office at Panaji does not function reasonably as should be and does not respect the consumer/ citizen’s time. For the past 6 months they give appointments and ask individuals to come the next week, every week, to collect documents like ‘mutation’ and they delay delivering the documents citing different reasons as : ‘Sir, not in office today’, ‘ too many other application pending’.
Interesting until today, the ‘Mamlatdar’, for the last 30day+ is striped of his power to act as one and is plunged in his sit in wait, for a Letter that will reinstate the power, which was sent out 3 weeks earlier but in regressively dragging it’s weary way to his heavy sit.

That a perfect cog in the clattered wheels of working of the Registrar office.
