dress not mailed/bad customer service
My mother ordered a dress for my daughter on Feb.03 2010. I was supposed to have it shippped in 11-13 working days w/ 3-5 days shipping or 6-9 days shipping. I was going on vacation from the 10 to the 20th, expecting that the dress might come while I was gone we chose standard shipping. Not only was the dress not there, it hadn't shipped, which it should have that friday. Or at least Monday, nope. When she contacted the company, they said it was Chinese New Year, to wait 5-7 days! That would be too late on standard shipping. They never gave a Chinese New year notice and the customer service people said they couldn't ship until March 2nd. Way too late since it had to be altered, even by their info. Then Customer Service started breaking down completely. We were told it would ship woday. Nope now it's 3-5 days and then 3-5 days for shipping! They would express ship it! Now they won't let her e-mail, she has to send in thses non functional tickets! No one answers them! No one's accountable for them! If the dress doesn't ship this week I HAVE to see if they will let her cancel! Based on other people's accounts that probably won't happen! I JUST WANT THE DRESS! I WANT TO KNOW IT WILL BE HERE, BUT NO ONE WILL TALK TO EITHER OF US! This is a joke of a company! Too many people have said it! PLEASE DON'T RISK IT! IMAGINE NOT GETTING YOUR WEDDDING OR PROM DRESS!

Wedding Dress
I ordered a long-sleeve wedding dress from Lightinthebox with custom measurements the delivery was fast, and at first I thought the dress would be perfect. After trying it on, I realized some alterations would be needed as I was unable to move or lift my arms. I found a tailor and she stated there was enough in the seams to let it out for arm movement. We noticed at that time the dress seemed a bit short in the front but thought after we got the arms situated, it would come down in front. After the second fitting, I was still unable to move my arms and it was very obvious there was a 3 inch difference between the front and side length of the dress. We removed one of the sleeves and after the tailor looked at it, she said there was no way anyone would be able to move their arms from the way it was put together.
I have complained twice to Lightinthebox but cannot get anyone to respond to me.

FRAUD
Lightinthebox is a total FRAUD company. I ordered two laptops for my children for Christmas and even paid extra for shipping. The order was almost $400. I then received an email from them stating they need a picture of my credit card with only last for digits of number showing or copy of bank statement with only name and address and last four digits showing. Suspiciouss as I was, I did it anyway. Then I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled. I then called my bank only to find out that lightinthebox had already deducted the funds from my account at least a week before I sent them the picture of my card. I am a poor person and now am out $400. with no Christmas for my kids. That was to be their only presents. I saw their comment to include order number in complaint and they would take care of issue. Yeah right, I don't believe it but here goes anyway. I will let you all know if that is a scam too. Order# 0911241900402530 I NEED THAT MONEY BACK

FRAUDSTERS
Absolute Scammers!
Beware Buyers DO NOT USE!
They took my money and never heard from again. I opened a complaint with Paypal and was advised that if i Wanted my item to close the dispute and they would send out 9-14 business days later!!! That was how long it was supposed to take after the recieved my payment!!!
Anyhow, i havent closed the dispute and am now fighting for a refund! WIll not give up either! The telephone number they give ppl is never connected so the number i have obtained (by telling them i wanted to make a large purchase) is +16503840320. I think his name is GUGU. Keep fighting fellow scammees, we all need to stand up against SCUM like this!!!

I placed an order from this site,
and they said It will take maximum 1 week to get my order shipped.
So, I placed an order, and they took my payment very next day,

It's been 3 weeks now,
No reply, No Feedback No, updates on my order.
and I am still waiting for my order updates.
This is one of the most Awful shopping experience I ever had.

broken item
i ordered an mp4/p3 touch screen it took about 15 days to get and then i finally get my player it looked good
i charged it for alittle bit and then turned it on and was able to mess with it for a total of five min. then the stuipid thing just froze and that it, it wont unfreeze i even tried to reset it and it still wont work. I spent 50.00 for junk there has to be a way to close this site so no more people can get ripped off . the people from this web site are stealing and should be stopped

Bad service nad fraud
I had purchased a dual sim mobile phone through this website lightinthebox.com, which was expensive. when i found it i had cancelled the order n requested for a refund. the sent the a cancellation number n confirming that i ll be refunded in 48 hrs time. but its been 14 days i havent received my refund. im trying to contact them by email, but the mail is bouncing back. trying by phone, no one picks up the phone. i checked with their online customer support team, they r not responding me properly. this company should be sued. or customers like me will be cheated again and again.

fake football tops
hello,
i have recently brought two liverpool football shirts from Lightinthebox, when i received the tops, they were both the wrong size, but i also noticed that the shirts were not the real thing, as there was no Adidas logo and the spelling on the inside tags was rubbish, the colours on the 2009/10 shirt was wrong on the back, it is suppose to be all gold not white, this i have checked on the proper shirts in the high street stores.
I did send Lightinthebox an e-mail regarding the sizes to see if they would e-mail me back, which they haven't, i have also read some off the other compliants regarding this company, and it is my belief that i will never receive any correspondence from this company.

Total Junk
Chinese Junk - I purchased a dress which was completely tailored incorrectly. Size 2 on the top and a 8 on the bottom. The material is horrible and the color is even worse. They do not return emails or calls. TOTAL RIP OFF - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.
