I ordered some items for christmas from the Lillian Vernon website. I was charged for the order and the items were received in a timely fashion.
However, on January 16, 2010, I was charged $14.95 on my credit card for a membership in the Lillian Vernon Rewards program, which I never signed up for. I will be trying to get a refund but who knows if that will happen. Hopefully I can at least get the membership cancelled. They are using some very sneaky tactic to get people enrolled without their knowledge. I see on this website that there were many, many complaints about other people having the same thing happen to them. I will be reporting them to the B.B.B. I hope that something can be done to stop this company from doing any more sneaky enrollments of customers that are unaware that it is happening until they get their credit card bill.
