LIS Mortgage told me that they could get me a loan modification on my existing mortgage. I paid them and didn't get any results. The first thing is that they had moved to another location without any kind of notification. I had to call and get a recording in order to get their new phone number. After leaving a message, they finally called me back.

Here it is a few months later and they have closed down without any results from them. In essence, they ripped me off. Here I am stuck with my current high mortgage payment less the money paid to them with nothing to show for it. I kept calling and leaving messages but got no call backs from their company. I tried calling again today just to find out their phone number is no longer in service.
