LIS Mortgage told me that they could get me a loan modification on my existing mortgage. I paid them and didn't get any results. The first thing is that they had moved to another location without any kind of notification. I had to call and get a recording in order to get their new phone number. After leaving a message, they finally called me back. Here it is a few months later and they have closed down without any results from them. In essence, they ripped me off.
