EGG HARBOR TWP>I 've worked with this company in many ways and closely w its associates for a very long time. I have been watching a spacific worker, manager.. being harassed horribly by upper managements ZONE / SALES and L.P. and w no support from store manager or human resorses within the store over the course of the past 7 months. I speak to the employees on a regular basis and am friendly with most in the store at this location and discuss different things. This is one of the hardest working and knowledgeable employees I have ever seen in my time of working with this company. this person worked up to dept. manager from a service associate at a very quick pace. Over the last several months I have noticed along with other associates @ that location that this employee has been targeted and harassed by senior managament almost like they are working together.. I dont think this employee in all the years i have been around this location had gotten a complaint from any customer or fellow associate at all. this worker is very sweet and polite and im sure may have gotten a few customer accomendations along the way. I feel like this store is a bunch of childish upper management that conspires agenst its employees. discussing, personal information, Breaking confidentiality, as a matter of fact i've wittnessed it on many occasions myself. Their behavior is very unethical. If corprate ever came into this location and asked the low management team about there concerns im sure they would uncover major problems complaints and harassing and degrading issues with upper management some individual upper management especially. If the regular employees were ever spoken to individually by corp. it would uncover a sespool of harassment misconduct and unethical behavior by upper management, lp inc. hr.. This store is a mess and totally a hellish place to work. But it seems the only way out is out the door.. its not a enviorment that empowers or encurages its employees in fact discuragement is all im sure they feel. i am of a different athnicity and have been degrated by a zone at this location even tho i am a reg consumer

Rude and unprofessional sales people
The service at the Corbin Ky store is very poor. The people in the plumbing department are very rude and if they do decide to help you they seem to go out of there way to try to make you look ***. I probably have done my last business in Lowes and will try to take every customer I can elsewhere!!! Today is 12-11-2010 so i hope this store will check there employees for this day in the plumbing section and get rid of a bunch of smart ***. Something needs done !!! This needs to stop as soon as possible.

wow i believe everyone who complains about this stuff should wake up and reliaze "HEY DID I READ THE FULL TERMS AND CONDITONS AS WELL AS THE FINE PRINT!" THATS WHERE ITS ALL AT! STOP pointing the balme on someone else other then yourself as the CONSUMER or CUSTOMER. Its YOUR product YOU bought the item and YOUR THE ONE TO USE IT EVERYDAY!!! NOT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY and THE STORE. yeah if you have questions or doughts on the operations please call and ask the MFG see if they know how to use thier own product and then if your out of their warranty please call the EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY @ 888-775-6937 AND ASK QUESTIONS NOT B***HING AND YELLING AT SOMEONE WHO IS JUST THERE TO HELP!

Combination Windows
I ordered aluminum combination windows from the Stevens Point store and paid for delivery. The department manager took my order. He screwed it up. I still have the paper with my measurements to prove he was at fault for ordering windows that were to short. He refused to order the proper sized windows and take the short ones back, but he did arrange to send me expander strips at no cost. He stated he was too experienced to have made such a mistake. When he found out I had proof he made the mistake he became rude, disappeared, and I had to deal with underlings until I received the expander strips in the mail. Now, a month later, the snow is falling and I am freezing my butt off installing the windows. Yes it's late in the fall, but it took me a over a month to get the expander strips.

Bad service
Lowes installers have proven to be not well trained at thier job...for a 2 hour job it went on for 5 hours...and still not complete apromise to return on the 5th at 8am is the best i could do.

thr frustration and inconvenience this has caused has been over the top..This has happened twice with Lowes..I like the store and its products, but I am now afraid of the installers. I just spent a thousand dollars there on two purchases..most of it in cash..and this is what I get!!

Waiting for free nail gun for one month
Sale paper advertisement stated buy 12 inch Hitachi dual miter saw and get a 2 inch Hitachi brad nailer free.We went to the Lowe's store before sale was over which was Sept 23.They said we could pick up nail gun on October 01.I called a week after pickup date and they said it had not come in.Then on October 9 we went to Lowe's and ask why it was taking so long.They called store on Dallas hwy and they had 4 at that store but they said we could not get one there, we would have to wait until they got some at that store.I explained to girl at inf desk we really needed it on the 9 but she said we would just have to wait.She was talking to someone named mark on the phone in store.The store where we bought this is on east west connector in Austell, Ga.We have bought many things in Lowe's including my Freezer, so I would appreciate an explanation on my email.( [email protected]. )We are very disappointed and was in Statesboro, Ga this past weekend and mentioned the way the Lowe's here in Austell has treated this matter.As of today Oct 17 we have heard nothing.We are very disappointed at the way this has been handled.Janet Willoughby.

Convinced me on an extended warranty
I purchased a Samsung french door refrigerator a month or so back. I declined the extended warranty because consumer reports stated the 1 year manufacturer is sufficient and much of what could go wrong usually happens within the first year. I usually take the gamble. The sales lady said Samsung didn't warranty the compressor for 5 years any longer, only for 1 year and for that reason an extended warranty was good to have. I went back the next day and bought one because I became concerned. We took delivery almost 1 week later because it had to come from the distribution center and coordinate with our schedule for being home. We read the paperwork on how to run it and found that there was a 5 year manufacturer warranty on the compressor. I called Samsung and it was verified. I called my Lowes and spoke to a sales person who verified there was only 1 year. I didn't argue. I only wanted to see what another sales person would say. I recalled Samsung and told them what I had been told by my sales person at time of purchase and how the second sales person claimed the same. Samsung told me again 5 years. I called the store manager explaining what I did and how his sales people are giving out misinformation. He said companies change the rules all the time and possibly they didn't know about the 5 years. He stuck up for his people and made me feel like I was a ***. He did tell me that I could come in and get a refund on the $150.00 extended warranty which I did. I felt that I was given wrong information to buy the warranty because they use a separate insurance company with nothing to do with Samsung and a local repair service and they make good money doing this.

I was made fun asking for help
After buying the blackflag Extreme home insect control from lowes in hollister mo.

I contacted the company that made the product.

I told them the product did not work they advised me to return it to lowes.

At the service desk a employee ask how can i help you.

I explained my problem with ants in side of my home.

He stated to me that the experts and he will help.I told him and these two women the problem. the laughed at me saying we do not have ants in there homes.

i am disabled in a riding cart.All three of these employees made fun of me because for having ants.the never helped me and never returned my money on this product. not a very nice to shop.Ps. this is a Guaranteed or your money back product.

Unprofessional warranty service
I would never buy anthing from Lowes again that requires an warranty. On 7/20 my refrigerator broke down I call the warranty and they sent out app.+. the gut came in my home he wasnt friendly at all, i went down stairs so he can handle his business. 45mins. later he calls me upstairs and starts to go ffo on me in front of my kids, to react would have been a bad mistake for me. so i call and made a complaint. a few days later they sent out another mom and pop tech. dont get me wrong I have nothing agaist one person company, but a gaint like Lowes should be using better tech. so the second tech comes out and open the refigerator door and says: this unit is unrepairable. *** this ahole didnt even plug the unit up. the 3rd service tech.comes out plugs the unit up unplugs it, *** both panels and say: it looks like a tech. drill a hole in the freon line to see what was going on the the line, and the fan is out and the motherboard needs replacing.in any event you're covered and i'll oder the parts. make a long story short we went over 3 weeks with out a refrigerator, sure they replace the unit and paid $250 for food loss. but that is not good enough for me, I wish to be compensated for this ordeal. I was told I drill the hole in the line. i was told a gift was sent out, then i call back to tell them the parts are here but i dont need them, at this point i was told the gift card was cancelled. no one knew what the other was doing, no one check the notes from the GE service tech. and he was the only true tech. in the 1st. place. this is BS. I'm seeking $3, 000.00 for compensation

Stay away
In March 2010, I purchased a John Deere Lawn Mower. After three cuts, the discharge a assembly melted apart, I took it to Tonys Repair shop on 2400 North Harlem in Chicago. While cutting grass after a heavy rain hit submerged pipe and bent the shaft and blade accidently, to find that the part was not covered by warranty, A BRAND NEW LAWN MOWER INOPERABLE, very disappointed in companys policy in warranties, no consideration of replacement of lawn mower. Also I am disappointed in the quality of the lawn mower, any and all consideration would be greatly appreciated. I was coerced into purchasing this lawn mower by the salesman #1273647 not only did I purchase the lawn mower I also purchased the extended warranty to cover any possible damages. Money as you know is very hard to come by and personally I dont or cant afford to throw away $563.19. Please rectify this situation as quickly as possible. A PISSED OFF CONSUMER.
