They just discontinued service after two months without warning. Finally got hold of someone who told me it was because of excessive use. He could not tell me what figure was used. It was a arbitrary figure someone made up. They do not tell you there is a limit. They say in terms of service #6 that they have the right to discontinue service or excessive use. With teens we use it about 15 hours a week. That is less than most cellphone plans. IF they would tell you limitations most people would abide by them. Then they said I can continue service by prepaying and charged a penny a minute. Their add says no additional phone charges and the one video on their site the guy even says ... call anyone you want and talk as long as you want. False advertising. Good idea gone bad.

Purchased three so called "Magic Jacks". None works. The only help is www.magicJack.com where you are requested to tell your friends to try the "magicJack" free "for $39.95 plus shipping and handling. I tried three "free" at the cost of well over $130.00 and many hours, weeks, and months. Still unable to "magicfix" as advised on the packaging, nor able to reach magicJack customer service. If only they would make available a street address and phone number with a live individual to speak to. I am unable to use these jacks.At time of purchase, free return shipping and purchase money guaranteed, if dissatisfied. Return to where? The only guaranty I get is an appology the system is temporarily down, please try again later. Is "magicJack" legitimate? How do I find out?

The phone service is horrible, the 'free 30 day trial' is charged to your account the minute you make the order, and then you wake up less than a month later having already spent $60 on the thing when your account is charged $93.80 out of the blue. I am in process of filing a dispute but don't hold out much hope. This is a disgraceful scam and after all these complaints, why is their ad still running? Are fraudulent companies allowed to advertise on TV? Where is the FCC?

I ordered the "magicjack telephone device" late july. I immediately tried to install it on my computer/tele.service. it did not work. So, in accord with their stated return policy, I sent it back the very next day.(their return policy states, its to be returned within 2 weeks for the refund. I rec'd a confirmation of its delivery to them on Aug. 08. They said I would see my refund credited back to my credit card at the next credit card billing. Since then, I have spoken with (nicole", "renard", "jason" "hero" and several others who say they are upper management, each time, they tell me my refund should be here in a few days, (once it was 3-5 business days, then it was 15 days, then it was 5-7 business days. for each person I spoke with on online chat, it was always a different answer. they sent me what they called " Magicjack adjustment, supposedly their evidence that it was being or had been processed (the amount was for $46.90 (Nicole sent me what she called a processing order #2020863; another number--538461; then an "invoice # which was my original order #A168972540.

The RMA ID# THEY SENT ME WAS #123326 ---They very conveniently "do not" give their phone number", so I cant call them.

Their address is a P.O. number Box 6846, west palm beach, fl., 33405. More and more I feel they will never refund my money but I thought I would make some effort to you on this site. Could you help me get my refund? I would appreciate any effort you could make in my behalf.
