Extra charge
Well let me tell you! that when I order this MagicJack, I only order One and got charge the normal amount $46.90, later on the same week I got charge again $39.95 (I say why?) I try calling and I was on hold for 56 minutes with the same recording OVER and OVER again. I say to my self!! Let me try the Web site and see how this is handle...Ho boy what did I got my self in to!!! trying to Chat with customer Service Man that first of all it took forever the customer Service to reply, on top of that they Keep asking me the same question over and Over again ( what is you order #? did you received the Item) To make a long story Short I DONT RECOMEND THIS.
I'm returning these items to MagicJack and am going to take 3 to 6 weeks for me to get my return!!!

Poor customer service and tech support
Don't ever get MAGICJACK voip phone service. They took my 5 year subscription fees, then couldn't fix a problem 1 year into the 5 year service, and would not refund the remaining four years after over 45 hours spent online with numerous chat sessions in an attempt to solve the problem. At less than two dollars an hour, getting the lousy $65 back just wasn't worth my time anymore. Mine will go in the trash.

No local call Incoming
I recently purchased Magic Jack.
I really think it's a wonderful product.
Although it's a great product I had to chose the closest city to me and it's Morgantown, WV.
Well needless to say I live in Oak Hill, WV, 95 miles away.
And even my closest neighbors have to dial long distance to call me.
Why isn't there a place in Beckley, Charleston or somewhere closer that my own neighbors 1o miles away don't have to call long distance?
I can hook up a mic to my computer and d better than that!
Great service and a wonderful product but come on people, Add more local cities.
If not, this will be my first and only year.
The initial cost wasn't bad, and the other would be great but COME ON MAN!!
Don't make my sister that lives 5 miles away have to call long distance.

delivery/tracking problem
I ordered two Magicjacks through internet using my visa credit card from Pakistan with delivery to be made at my permanant residence at 1156 trails edge youngstown ohio 44425 having telephone number 330-759-9659. The transaction was made some 15 days ago. The order number was printed but somehow it did not print in the printable area of the page, therefore, it can only be located by my name as mentioned on my credit card 'shahid a. malik'. My email address is [email protected] and [email protected]. I have also not received any email from Magicjack. The website does not have the option on contacting Magicjack. Kindly have my order tracked and delivered immediately.

Magic Jack/ Blows
I used my magicjack for 4 months then i had an issue with my headset. Magicjack sent me another unit that was going to be billed if i did not return the original one. Anyways the problem was the headphones not the jack.
Returned it and received confirmation the other day that they received it.
Yesterday Jan.4/10 I plugged in my magic jack and it stated we have an up date for you, Wait till finished.
That was the operative word finished! It upgraded and after 3 hours in total with there csr's. They are certain my problem is that I use Nero for burning disks on my computer, And that nero is not compatible with Tragicjack.
Well I said that's funny I have been using it for 4 month's with Nero on my desktop and had no problem till you started your up grade?
This was ignored as was my request for a new Tragicjack.
They had a great idea with this. And his proud daughter got sucked in to. I hope this helps put a dent in sales of
TRAGICJACK!!!

Rip Off!!
magic jack is a horrible product!
I wouldnt suggest it to anyone.
Not only did I get this product online, only to find out that they didnt have canadian phone numbers, but when i contacted them through their support, they said that as soon as canadian phone number became available that I would be able to change my magic jack phone number to one of those numbers.
That was an absolute LIE!
not only will they not allow me to change my phone number now that they have canadian phone numbers, but they always refuse to give you a phone number so you can talk to someone instead of chat online with one.
their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!
I have saved my chat history with them, and would love to actually find out how to contact a manager or associate..
as i want a refund!!
Again... NEVER wait your time or money with magic jack... its not worth your time at all!

Big Scam
Magicjack seemed like an inexpensive way to save money on the phone bill, but instead, it has been one huge headache. The line is constantly making crackle noises and the other end cannot hear what you are saying. I called magicjack and they said my computer was too old for the product. My computer is 43 days new! The customer service rep was annoying and rude and insisted that the problem was at my end and not magicjacks'. After surfing the web and also talking to people who have also had magicjack, there should be a class lawsuit against them. I'm glad I'm a network administrator in the infrastructure dept., because I was able to completely uninstall it and make sure forensicly that nothing was left behind. Magicjack is a insult to the technology world and the inventor should stand by his product and refund peoples' monies without question and quit advertising magicjack as a product of efficiency, but instead, a product of failure.
