Today June 21, 2011 I received the fourth repair visit for my new Maytag dishwasher. My husband talked me into the next model up because it was "better".Our first Maytag was recalled due to faulty
wire-ring .First call for repair was because dirty dishes in, dirty dishes out . We were told we were using the wrong soap. We changed soap, it didn't help.Second call we were told bad water tower a part was ordered. Third call new part installed everything seemed to go from their dirty in clean out. Until I noticed a rust spot on the lower corner the stainless steal is not so stainless the finish is rusting from inside out. A new door has been ordered. So Maytag buyers beware if you don't work from home or have a friend or family member who is willing to sit around for the four hour time window most repair places give you. Have some vacation stocked before buying.
