being charged without knowledge
I was charge a automatic renewel fee of 68.97. plus an overdraft fee of 35.00. when i had cancelled my acct., almost a yr ago. I do not think it is fair that i have to pay an overdraft when i never authorized the withdrawal or renewel ih the first place. I would not recommend match.com to anyone because of this abuse of innocent peoples money. My user acct i 6463801 and my email is [email protected]. I would like a refund of my 35.oo overdraft fee too. It is an criminal act that you guys do this.

active status
Has anyone had any problems with a profile saying "Active within 24 hours, 3 days, etc..." without the profile actually being accessed or active within that time frame?

Cannot Stop Emails from Match.com
Cannot stop this company (if you can even call it that) from sending me emails EVERY day with "matches" they have selected for me. I never even joined or paid them anything ! I was curious about Match.com and signed up for a FREE trial. Every day they send me emails with pictures of the creepiest looking men that I would never even think of talking to let alone date them! I have tried to stop these emails but it is absolutely impossible!! They have no contact phone number and if I try to reply to the email to ask them to stop I am unable to, you can't reply to any email from them unless you click on the button to join Match.com. Someone please help !! These people must be stopped !

a ridiculous rippoff
This is the biggest ripoff most of the people on there have a discontinued profile, they just keep them up to lure you in. When you try to contact these people they never access the email they no longer are on the service. Then they just keep your money.

Bogus Profiles - Widowers
Every day I receive winks from men between 45-55 who claim to be widows. All the ads say that they're seeking a woman in mid-30s to mid 60s. These ads are all have beautiful ads that sounds too good to be true - very romantic, looking for love, marriage, etc. They all indicate an income over over 150K and that they're seeking a woman of any size and proportion. Usually, the profile is unavailable within a short time. I have never responded to any, but what is the big deal here? match.com widow ads

Billing Renewal
Twice I have pre-selected to not auto-renew my subscription approximately a couple months in advance and twice it has been renewed and charged to my credit card [I work in the IT industry and confirmed it was set correctly each time]. The first time I called to request a refund and cancel the subscription but told I could not. A lawyer friend and I are taking screen captures after I have set it to not auto-renew. At various points throughout the year we will document using witness verification of that status during the valid subscription period.

Leaving a profile up
Why is a profile left on Match.com after someone cancel the account?
I lost a relationship tonight because my old profile is still on Match. I cant get anyone to help me.
I did not paid for the account I simple changed my mind. but now I have lost a relationship because she thinks I'm still oon there looking for other woman.

If you cancel the account or change your mind why would a profile be left on there?

Uninformed termination of account
I had been a member of the site, Match.com for more than 2 years at least. On the 5th of October, i made a payment of a one month subscription and was happily using the site, updating my profiles and pictures. On the 6th of October, I couldn't log in anymore and was advised to contact Customer Care.

Customer Care informed me that I have violated the Terms and Conditions listed on their website and due to the "nature of the violation", they would not communicate with me anymore. All without giving me an explanation and offering a refund. I have since sent emails to follow up to ensure that I get my refund back. Still awaiting their response.

I am outraged as I went through the Terms and Conditions and felt that I have not violated them in anyway. By refusing to provide me an explanation, I am considering that Match.com has terminated my account on an uninformed basis, denying me of my right to paid services. Prior to the termination, I even received emails that my updated profile and pictures were approved. I am especially enraged by their dismissive attitude. I assure you that my profile is perfectly legitimate (no, I didn't solicit in any manner) and honest-t0-boot.
