Mawi painting in Moreno Valley was referred to me by a relative. He submitted a bid with guidelines for work to be done. He did not honor the bid, use the lowest grade paint(my doors still stick after 3 months). He used water base paint over oil base without proper priming. He was to sand, fill and patch before painting--this was not done. He did not protect my white carpeting and when I asked for protection he threw dirty tarps over the carpets. When asked to make right his mistakes he argues. He broke a cabinet door and said it was that way when he started the job--which was not true. He also damages my bathroom door handle and now I have a bathroom door that cannot be locked at this point. When I asked about the cabinet doors sticking--he said paint had to cure for 3 weeks. The paint store said he used inferior paint. This is my home--not a rental.
