Mawi painting in Moreno Valley submitted a bid with guidelines for work to be done. He did not honor the guidelines that he set forth. He used cheap paint, using water based paint over oil based paint. He was to sand, fill, and patch before painting. This was not done. He did not protect my white carpeting and when asked to do so he threw dirty tarps over the carpet. He damage the bathroom door as it no longer locks. When I asked why the cabinets doors stuck, he told me that the paint needed to cure for 3 weeks. Paint is peeling and bubbling and my home was painted in September 2009.
I called the paint store and they told me that he used inferior paint and paint does not need 3 weeks to cure. They checked this by putting his phone number into the computer. So please check with the paint store and do not use Mawi Painting. He did not give me what he told me he wiould do.
