Good Riddance MetroPCS
I had great service from metropcs for over 2 years until lost my razrv3m. i bought a v3s(i might have them backwards) and my troubles began. it wouldnt hold a charge so after 2 weeks i returned it and they gave me a new one. well this one held a charge but it wouldnt download the metro navigator so they replaced it with one that would download the gps but wouldnt hold a charge.
2 different agents at 2 different times took the battery out and told me "it feels swollen". and told me i overcharged it and that they would sell me a new battery but wouldnt replace the phone.
ok i accepted the fact that my new $150 phone had to live on a charger.
next i temporarily moved out of state and realized that none of my features like gps and picture messaging would work so when i returned to atl i went to my local metropcs to get email and gps off my plan about a week after paying for those features for the month and i noticed that they were gone instantly. i called "customer service" and the guy told me that i should have waited until the billing cycle was over to have them removed. i said, no problem just send me a check for the difference of the services i paid for and i was told "we dont do that".
3 days ago i said goodbye to metropss forever.

Metro Base on Employees Money then reiborse back.
MetroPCS was base on taking there employees money then giving it back to there employees. Yea the employee will get there money back in 2 weeks but it’s not fair... The field engineers and RF engineers have to pay from there pocket to put gasoline and buy there own tools due to MetroPCS not providing them a Fleet Card for the use of there company vehicle and Credit card to purchase tools needed to perform there daily jobs. The employee has to break down there personal budget and spare money out from there checks to pay for MetroPCS needs. I really think the company should be more professional and give out Fleet cards for employees that use a company vehicle and be fair with its employees... We all have a budget and personal finance to control and of course family to feed... So MetroPCS be fair and respect your own Ethic of Conduct. I was an employee and resign due to this problem, but I really miss my MetroPCS customers and my old Job at MetrPCS. I hope Roger D. Linquist can resolve this issue and think about there employees more often because of them MetroPCS is what it is today its time to spare them as well.

Roger D. Linquist is the Chairman, President & Chief Executive of Officer of metroPCS

Changed my plan without my permission
MetroPCS changed thier plans AFTER I had service for over a year. Upon their changing of their plans they took services from me that were moved to a more expensive plan and told me that if I wanted those services back that I was going to have to pay the higher rate. When I asked to be connected to a supervisor they refused and hung up on me several times. There is no way of contacting any of the upper level managers as the customer service reps ( whick suck) will transfer you. When you asked to be transfered they either tell you that there is no way of contacting the upper level managers or they just plainly hang up on you. I have turned them into the FCC for not grand-fathering me into their plan changes and then over charging me for the plan that they put me in after they changed their plans. I would suggest that everyone that is not satified with them that they also talk to the FCC as they will pull their communications license after a certain amount of complaints. Them MetroPCS will be shut down for good.

Phone services
Yesterday we had our cellphone stold-pickpocketed onbus, we tried several times over to contact metropcs to file our insurance and shut the phone service down so we would not be responsible for any illegal activity from the thiefs who took our phone, First, they hung up on us every time we called, second, they said our insurance had been discontinued(lie).and it has become such a burden on us we feel let down disrespected cheated and lied to. This just the start of my complaints I will not stop until this issue is resolved and Metropcs is held accountable for its lack of professionalism, false advertisement ect... I strongly recamend for any one who is reading this letter to think twice before choosing Metropcs. My next step is to contact a lawyer who will see what kind of service we are dealing with, anyone reading this is free to call me at 562-360-9678 in case you think Im bull-lieing . Thank You ROBERT ROCK

Fraud and cheating
The ads read 'unlimit yourself' and 'permission to speak freely' - but that has NOT been our experience. We've owned and used mobile phones for many years and have used both cellular and PCS services.

MetroPCS knowingly offers service that is sub-standard in order to sell expensive hardware (handsets and accessories) needed to access their network.

They SAY you can try out their service free for one month, when in fact, you have less than one hour (including incoming and outgoing calls billed in unknown increments) to evaluate their service. If their service were standard, 60 minutes of talk time might be enough to determine if MetroPCS is worth the low-cost of service. Unfortunately, MetroPCS service is so poor that calls are dropped constantly and need to be repeated many times just to have a simple conversation.

They SAY you can talk freely, but what they don't tell you is that once the all-too brief evaluation period ends, you are locked into being billed for services that in many cases do not exist; they will not refund the price paid for handsets or accessories.

They SAY they provide 'the freedom to enjoy flexible wireless calling' when in fact sound quality is horrendous and service is non-existent in many major cities. (We were without service south of San Juan Capistrano to San Diego and east from Upland, north to Las Vegas.) This is a HUGE liability when traveling (especially with children) and certainly limits ones ability to communicate with anyone, much less handle any emergencies.

They SAY they provide 'truly unlimited local and long-distance service' - but that assumes you actually have access to their network.

When, after only 6 frustrating days of dropped calls, no service, and poor sound quality, we attempted to return our phones and accessories and were told that we'd gone over the 60-minute limit. When we insisted this was never explained, the manager of the El Monte CA store, Jesus Vaquerano, refused to listen to us. When we politely asked for his contact information and that of his manager, he asked security to escort us out of the store.

We feel that MetroPCS advertising is mis-leading at best. They lure customers into buying mobile phones that cannot be used and do not stand behind their promises of unlimited talk. We now have over 500.00 of useless hardware and feel we were ripped off!

We would be willing to join a class action suit against MetroPCS.

My service was altered to be made to be more than what my bill is .said by a agent that someone got money for a previous payment on my bill, but yet a whole month after I had service. And now this Month a payment I made misterously does not show in the computer system. For this payment I have a receipt of my payment.I feell like I've been robbed by this company, and I'd really would like to sue them for money they took from me and the mental anguish, and inconveince they have cause me and other members on my account.

Billing Practices
On Oct 10, 2008 I paid my metropcs bill of $57.90 that was due over the internet at Metropcs website the payment was processed and my bank was billed on 10/14/08 however, my cellphone was cut off on 10/10/08 and currently still off as of 10/16/08.

I can't contact metropcs by email nor by calling on my cellphone directly, I did go down to their store in San Leandro CA and the owner said they didn't get the payment. But on my bank statement it shows that bill matrix did debit my account for the above mentioned payment on 10/10/08 I would to hear from Metropcs directly to why they have cut my phone off for so long after receiving my payment I would like additional credit for days my service was interupted and a letter of explaination.

Sincerely,

Judith Caesar
