A warning to anyone considering purchasing the Xbox 360
A warning to anyone considering purchasing the Xbox 360 - If your experience with Powercare & Microsoft is anything like mine has been - if it breaks, you aint getting another one via the warranty route, Powercare and Microsoft are not in the least bit interested in honouring the warranty for the RROD problem... if they were Im sure i would of had a new console by now, or at least given the oppertuynity to get a refund!! Yes, they wont give me a refund on their faulty console (my second one to get the RROD problem)... nor have they replaced the console, so EFFECTIVELY, what has happened, I FEEL like I've been robbed of thousands of Rands... and they laughing all the way to the bank! If I hear another sob story about bad weather in the Durban harbour STILL preventing the ship to dock (2 weeks later) Im going to soil myself, guys, who you kidding!?!?! I want my replacement!

unauthorized charges
My grandson order Xbox minutes on line. 60 dollars in one month for undetermind amount of minutes and I had to terminate my card. When I called microssoft at1 800 4699269, they said that they recieve the payments but have not rembersed me yet. You would think that micrsoft being the cutting edge of computers would recognize a scam if they got three payments on the same date. I guess =geerd runs deep

Abused by xbox customer service staff then supervisor
I have had an xbox 360 now for 18 month and it has recieved the rings of death twice. When i ring up customer service they are helpfull and arrange for the console to be fixed but yesterday when i rung this wasn't the case. I had been suspended from xbox live for a day and i had no idea why so i decided to ring customer service to see if they could shed some light on it. She took my details and then told me somebody had complained about something(Most likely playing a clan and they all put complaints in about me which is fair enough) but then she started getting arsey and being quite rude so i took her name and asked if i could talk to the supervisor because this was wrong. In all fairness he did take the call but it seems the only reason he did this was to give me abuse. At first he was ok but when i asked him if he had contact details so i could complain about the ban he started raising his voice as he told me it. I asked him if he could repeat the e-mail address so i could check it he started reading it out load and slow and repeated the letters 3 or 4 times in a sarcastic tone. When i asked him why he was getting like that he told me to shut up and that he was going to get me banned for life. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT. What are microsoft playing at. Im now trying to find out who else this has happened to and im not going to stop until somebody higher up with a bit of understanding and curtisy can tell me why they allow customers who spend alot of money on there products are allowed to be spoken to like this but as usual microsoft doesn, t have anywhere you can complain but this will not end any time soon.

I have a charge of $11.28 to my bank account from Microsoft*Billing Bill.MS.Netand I have not bought this I wish to lay a complaint about it and hopefully will be refunded Thank you.

Bad customer service
I purchased by mail Microsoft Office 2007. My product key was provided June 9th. It has yet to work. My computer says it is invalid. Every email I send I get some standard form telling me how to install. I talked to someone from Digital River for 10 min., then when he realized I hadn't yet installed it, he got rather patronizing and told me I needed to speak to someone in the tech. dept. and would transfer me. Was cut off then. I think part of the problem is we can't understand each other. What's also frustrating is after giving the case #, I have to give my name and phone, which invariably turns into a 2-3 minute spelling and re-spelling session. Right now I am on hold again, after having to give all my info yet again. He transferred me to another dept. UGH!! I asked in several emails can I not just get a product key that works, however they probably don't really read the emails, because it's never been addressed. In one email I mentioned maybe I should just get a refund, and they sent me instructions on how to get a refund. Hello, Microsoft!! You'd rather lose a sale then try to fix it? Well, it's been about 20 min. on hold so far, guess I'll hit the website to see if I can once again try to figure it out myself. Microsoft, your customer service STINKS!

Microsoft took my points away that were given to me because I over paid for an xbox 360 game. They will not give me my points back, the points I paid for, because they claim they were promotional points. If I was given points back because I over paid for a game, shouldn't I be able to keep those points that were originally paid for by me??

unauthorized charge
there was an unauthorized charge of 21.00 on my debit card which also caused a 32.00 over draft fee.. i did not authorize this and would like this taken care of as soon as possible..

We have had 3 systems, all with problems
I am a parent of 4 boys and am very upset with the x box 360 We have had 3 systems all with problems and i am refusing to pay for another one!! I paid good money 3 times over for this crappy system nevermind the games, headsets, accounts, microsoft points and so on and so on. I also have a wii system and a sony. My sons were very involved with the halo series online. It very disheartening to see them so upset over this stupid system that they can not play now. When trying to find help online it too wants a payment, what a rip. We are in a rough place right now with layoffs and the economy, that replacement is not feasable even if we wanted to pay again. Is there nothing to be done??? I will not recommend the 360 system to anyone due to all the problems it has caused, nor the microsoft company.
