Bank of America bought Countrywide who had my mortgage. My income cut in half after layoff over a year ago. After bank of America got its bailout and Obama started his mortgage assistance program I called. I barely make my payments monthly by end of month. I ave cut out ever months to ything from cable, internet ect, and have only food utilities, gas and mortgage. I asked for my rate to be temporarily lowered f months to allow me to get a better job, when the economy turns around. First they told me Id have to be o days late to qualify with no guarantee. I said no, I want to stay current. Then another gal told me they dont reduce fixed rates only adjustable. then another gal told me I dont make enough money to qualify.

YOU MORONS! If I made enough money I wouldnt be asking for help!!! you got your multi million dollar bailout, all Im asking for is a temoorary rate reduction to reduce my mortgage $ or $ per month so I can keep it.

There is no appeal process, and they told me to call back when I make more money
