Bank of America bought Countrywide who had my mortgage. My income cut in half after layoff over a year ago. After bank of America got its bailout and Obama started his mortgage assistance program I called. I barely make my payments monthly by end of month. I ave cut out ever months to ything from cable, internet ect, and have only food utilities, gas and mortgage. I asked for my rate to be temporarily lowered f months to allow me to get a better job, when the economy turns around.
