Got a defective cartridge, called, got RMA and requested a replacement. "IF you wish to purchase another toner, we'll send it out." I Packed it in the SAME PACKING AS SENT TO ME. [It had begun leaking ALL OVER!] No word from Co. after couple of weeks. "We'll call you back."
I called a couple of months later. "It is still on the workbench." Huh?
After more than 4 months, I called them back AGAIN and was told I had NOT packed the cartridge properly and I had used the cartridge [my Xerox wouldn't even work with the cartridge in it: "Remove strip from toner cartridge..."]. Was informed they would not replace the cartridge and that I would be issued a $34. credit. There was NO WAY to challenge their claims to the contrary and get a replacement. If my machine wouldn't work with the thing in it, how the FLIP could I have used it? If it was packed incorrectly, then why did they send it to me in that manner?
I WON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.
al_3745 sounds like a shil for the company. for his comments, since the previous post/complaint is almost exactly the same (non-)response from Newpronet/LibertyToner. What is the solution he proposes if we DO as instructed and are stymied and stonewalled when a replacement is warranted?
