Handset damaged by nokia care
Dear Concerned

I have always been a user of nokia like N82, Communicator(ex), 6300, 7610(ex), 3530(ex) & 1100.

For authenticated purchase of N82, i travelled all the way from Goa to pune(to a priority dealer). The mobile is used with utmost care and loaded with F secure Antivirus with official subsription.. The speaker of the mobile stopped working which was then replaced at Nokia Care Margao-Goa.

Now the phone is showing numerous errors like

1. System Error( specially after disconnecting WiFi)
2. Sim card not ready.
3. Restarts often
4. If i use secondary camera it restarts.
5. If i swap between 2 calls it hangs.

After showing it to nokia care, they damaged my keypad from inside and told me that the warranty is void because of liquid damage, which is not at all related to the nuemorous software problems. The phone has never fallen down or got intouch with water.

Since I have purchased the all my phones at a very dear prices, i expect full value for my money and ask you to do the needful at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains strong.

I received a sms that I won a large amount of money in a lottery for Nokia' anniversary. I was asked to fill out a form asking for personal information. Which I didn't, needless to say, without trying to verify the information. Is this real, or is it a scam?

Inefficient Engineers at Nokia Care
My mobile phone N72 was handed over to Nokia Care, Chandrapur on 02.07.2009 as it was dead. The people at Nokia care told me to take delivery after 5-6 days. I phoned the centre on 07.07.2009 and enquire about the progress. They told that the phone is ready and I can take delivery. When I went to Nokia Care on 08.07.2009, the phone didn't start. The Nokia Care asked me to come on 09.07.2009. When I went on 09.07.2009, they handed over my phone dead and told that they cannot repair it. They even suggested me to go to the local repairer. Then I showed my phone to one of the local repairer, he repaired the phone within an hour and told me that the power IC was dead. The question is how can Nokia engage such inefficient engineers who can't even locate the fault in a period of 7 days.

Handset not working properly
I purchased my handset in February. It was working fine till May real problems started First the slide cover that covers the camera started malfunctioning. I got it checked in the service center in Planet Cell, Pune center. I was told that the spring had broken and is not covered under warranty. It would cost me around Rs. 450 for no fault of mine. Now the real problem started, the handset it started switching off. I got the mobile checked in the Nokia Care center in Planet Cell, Pune(411007). They told me it was a virus problem. and updated the software. I had not even connected my handset to any computer nor received and data using Bluetooth so I was a little amazed. But the problem continued even after the software updation. I again got the software updated and also the memory card formatted. Moreover the software updated was not having the 100 free inbuilt songs and also the game during the time of the purchase of the new handset. I inquired about it and was told that the songs and the games will not be provided. Please let me know how can I get these back as I have lost them without any fault of mine. Again a new problem started. My mobile stated giving very low battery backup. Maximum of 24 hrs with minimum usage. I again got it checked and got the battery replaced from the same center i.e. Nokia care in Planet Cell, Pune 411007, but still same problem is persisting. Inspite of repeated requests to person incharge of the center nothing has been done. I was told that my mobile will be sent to the main service center to identify the real cause of the problem. I am repeatedly going to the center and getting different excuses every time. Please look into the matter immediately as I am a facing several problems due to it. I have the carry the charger everywhere with me. Please look into the matter immediately. I have been a Nokia user since last 10 years and I have full faith that my problem will be addressed as soon as possible.

Poor Quality and service
URGENT & IMMEDIATE

Dear Sir/Madam,

Subject: Complain regarding NOKIA customer service at Celltel show room, Deira

I want to draw your kind attention to a recent incident, where as a customer of NOKIA product, I was extremely dissatisfied by the quality of the product and services provided by your company. Considering the severity of the case and its implication on NOKIA /Celltel reputation risk, I thought of bringing the case to the kind attention of your office.

In summary, the following incidence took place:

1) On 15 June 09, I purchased one NOKIA-5130, Express Music, mobile from Celltel Nokia showroom in Deira, vide invoice no: 786 /295218.
2) I approached M/s Celltel on 17/06/09 for complaining for my handset .One sales man told me Manager Mr.Adam not there. You can come tomorrow
3) I went to Celltel with my NOKIA handset on 24/06/09 and I spoke to Mr.Adam in show room .He advice me to leave the handset in service counter. As I complained that the signal reception is very weak and no long life for battery charge.
4) One technician told me he will call after 3 days but he didn’t call (Pls.note he doesn’t have time to speak or explain to customers.)
5) After several follow up over phone, nobody answered to my phone calls at the showroom. Finally I had to go in person, to take my product on 28/06/09.
6) Again I approach Celltel due to the same problem and again one sales man told me Manager Mr.Adam is not there, you can come tomorrow (02/07/09).
7) I went again 04/07/09, after so many discussion and promises I have given for service.


Now the handsets with M/s Celltel.I don’t know how they are checking the unit. Anyway when I am observing this it is not working properly .Also I have one doubt if Mr.Adam not there the customers are not getting service..? . So I request you to kindly findout a solution either refund or replacement as early as possible. As I am loosing my valued customer due to this. Whilst the money involved in this incidence may be trivial to your company, however the incidence and Nokia / Celltel attitude towards customer service should not go unnoticed by the senior management, hence I am bringing the matter to your attention.

I would appreciate your immediate response to the subject matter.

Nokia Lies
Over a month ago the back cover of my cell phone (nokia 6085) fell off. It was a complete mistake. I called AT&T first, and they wanted to charge me $200 for a new phone, because that is how much it is worth. Or they would give me a phone for $40 and I wasn't interested in this phone, so I called Nokia. Nokia said that they will send me a free back cover, but they were currently out of stock. They claimed to be able to send me the part by next week. All of this took place on memorial day weekend. So my battery was always falling out, which was horrible. I made a temporary back cover made from cardboard, and electrical tape. Nokia is giving me the run-a-round saying "In a few days, in a few weeks" and stuff like that. I don't want them to lie! Tell me the darn truth! I am using a phone with a stupid piece of cardboard of the back and i constantly have to use new cardboard. So, Nokia has being lying to me for over a month, and I am tried of it!
