Grinding, screeching or a loud hum from the equipment pad is often the first sign of trouble, and NovaDive Group hears it a lot in Burbank. Worn motor bearings, a cracked impeller or a pump running dry because of an air leak can all make that noise. Our techs pull the pump apart, replace bearings and seals where it makes sense and recommend pool pump repair and replacement only when the motor is done. We also check the lid o-ring, suction lines and filter, because pool filter repair and replacement sometimes fixes the low flow that caused the damage. Variable speed pump installation is an option for owners in Toluca Lake who want a quieter backyard. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday.
