I work in an agency that does apartment rentals. We have had many people come into our office that have been scammed. One company name/email address that keeps coming up on MANY of these scams in EMERALD SUITES and [email protected], associated with the (I assume fake) name Sean McLaren and ask you to wire money to an account in the name of Estrada Property Management. These people also scam via Paypal and ask you to send money to the Paypal address [email protected] (as well as others I'm sure).

They also frequently advertise an apartment in Time Square NYC and always mis-spell it as TIMES SQUARES. They give their address on their fake documents (as well as probably the supposed address of the property) as 307 Seventh Ave, Suite 306, which is the address of an actual rental company that is in no way associated with these scammers. We have people showing up on the doorstep of our office with luggage looking for their apartment, after they have previously wired all sorts of money to these scammers. Our office address is not near Time Square and it is a commercial office building not an address with rental apartments. BEWARE!!! THEY CONTINUE TO SCAM AND FIND NEW VICTIMS!
