PC Richards needs new service reps
I bought a fridge in 2004 with 10 yr warranty. Third time the defrost mechanism has malfunctioned, resulting in the fridge becoming warm and the freezer extra cold?. Electronic part had to be replaced.. Today's service rep, Gabriel, was so unfriendly from the start, no eye contact, barely mumbled hello, etc.. Took freezer apart then said I will need to replace the electronic part which will cost a lot of $$$?. Didn't believe it had been replaced in the past or that it was still under warranty/. I had to prove it, then he ordered the part.. Asked why this keeps happening, said just be happy it works when we replace the part?. Gee, thanks. 422556

I feel we were taken atvantage of the that the company committef fraud
We bought all our appliances, including the regrif in question GE Profile . We were told at the time of purchase that the appliances were all new and had a few dents, cosmetic problems. OK we said we can live with that. WE purchased the appliances.
Many months went by 7 unti our new home was completed to instal.. We kept the appliances safe in heated garage.
When installed, the ice maker did not work as the hose was leaking. Other problems arose after we called GE including the hindge was broken, door suction was striped. We then were told from the GE Co. that the unit was 5 years, used as food was found in both the freezer and bin. GE was very apologetic and said this was not fair and illegal to sell a used refrigerator. They are behing us 100%. The unit was built in 2005 and they don't sell this anymore.
We also found the GE profile stove was also used and they said it was brand new.
PC Richards carefully wrap they appliances with new packing material so the customer thinks the unit is new.

I will never do business with this awful store again.
After spending $4000 on a washer and dryer with an extended 10 year warranty, my washing machine broke down. I called for service under the warranty and was told by the independent (contracted by PC Richard) service tech that the machine was not economical to repair and was a fire hazard.
PC Richard assured me that I would have a new washer within 3 days. I called to check status the next day and was told that they were ordering parts to repair the washing machine instead of giving me a new one. Why would I want to use a washing machine that was deemed a fire hazzard.
Continued calls to the service department to no avail. I will never do business with this awful store again.

I have it on my waranty papers but they still do not honor it
I bought a tv and purchase a 5 years warranty and tried to get extra 5 years. Charlie told me they dont not extend tv waranties. I have it on my waranty papers but they still do not honor it.
