It was common practice for Patriot Title (PT) to perfomr title services for clients with high-risk (low credit scores) clients for various, national lenders but then siphon off the contact information into a private database so they could contact them via PT's own mortgage company. This is ILLEGAL in many states, but at the least unethical in any state. The owners are part of the full housing/mortgage problem that cascaded nationally and should be held accountable!!
