We purchased a plotter from Plotter 4 U. Robert Coffey guaranteed the plotter and warranty. Also, guaranteed a service department in our area for any repairs. When we received the plotter, it would not cut paper and had problems with the drawing.
Robert Coffey called in a local service representative, who was not affiliated with Plotter 4 U. As it turned out, Robert did not have a service department in our area. The service rep was only authorized to fix the paper cutter, when he saw the other problems, he called Mr. Coffey. We found out then that it had a bad memory board and would cost too much to fix. We had waited for quite sometime for someone to come out. We decided to have it returned and Robert agreed to refund the full price as soon as plotter was received back. Plotter was received back January 28th and one month later we are still waiting on a refund. Now, we find out that we are receiving a refund minus restocking fee, shipping fees, and etc. He is still hitting us for about $600.00. So does he have a company that sends out bad plotters and then keeps $600.00 when you have to return the item? Pretty good scam I would say.
