I paid ProLawn Plus for lawn weed and pest control services. In Spring 2010, I reported a small brown patch. Over the next few months, they repeatedly told me not to do anything to the yard b/c it would interfere with their treatments, that they had fixed the problem (repeatedly), and that it would return. Eventually, the entire yard (65 feet wide) turned brown and they said it was dead and needed to be replaced (cost $4, 000 for St. Aug. grass). Then, they would never return my correspondence, and their insurer said that despite that they are paid for lawn and pest control, they are not liable for damages due to failure of lawn and pest control! No dispute that they killed my lawn and how much it cost to replace--just that they don't have to pay for it or refund my money! Their guarantee is worth absolutely nothing.
