Unauthorized charge to credit card
Same thing happened to me. Signed up for free sample, received it...then on 12/31 there was a 78.81 charge which I'm disputing with my bank. Now I see another today that is pending for 83.80 and no phone number on it. I cannot get ahold of anyone and it appears they have multiple company names as my bank blocked the first one.

I also sent at least 10 e-mails to them ----NOTHING!!! I actually got ahold of someone 2 and they were supposed to cancel it --shock they didn't!!! I had to cancel my account card and my husbands to stop them. THIS IS A BIG SCAM DONT BUY PURE ACAI BERRY!!!

Charged 78.81 for free trial
I supposedly ordered a free trial of the Pure Acai Berry and was charged $78.81 on 12/11/08 and then charged again $83.83 on 12/22/08. I did not order this. It came in a plain package with no paperwork inside, nothing to tell about the product or what you should do to cancel the order. I received three different bottles and they all have different labels. This is a travesty!!!

Charged w/o proper authoriztion
My sister was duped into the scam of purchasing the trial offer for only $4.99 or so she thought: since she didn't have a card i used my mine for her... in the end i have been charged an additional $78.81 for a product that i haven't received. $ 78.81 is alot of money to me... especially since my husband and i both have been laid off in the past month due to our struggling economy... so money that was already being stretched tight is going to have to be stretched even further... I asked the customer service rep if i was going to receieve a product for the additional $78.81 that i HAVE NOT recieved and he said no but tried to sell me another bottle... Hello if i didn't technically purchase it in the first place why would i want to now??? I did contact the BBB of oklahoma who helped transfer to Florida and since the charge of my bank statement showed the purchase from New York... I too filed a claim with the BBB of New York!!!

charging credit card
I got the free trial for 4.99 and before I knew it they had charged my account 78.81. Now I cannot get a refund. They are the biggest ripoffs I have seen in my life. I suggest to anyone who is thinging of this "DON'T DO IT"!!! They tell me it is after the 14 days and I cannot get a refund, when the numbers I had were either disconnected or you could not get through cuz the e-mail was full.

charges and concelling further shipments
I received a bottle of the product and was charged $78.81 for it which was exorbitant. When I called the number 866-964-1011 I was told someone would contact me the next day. No one ever called back. When I called again I was told someone would call me back in two days. I do not trust this company and will probably cancell my credit so I cannot be billed again.

Fraudulent Business Practices
I, like so many others, have been illegally charged for this product. The 14-day trial means nothing, they charge your credit card anyway. I spoke to a representative and after arguing for 30 minutes, he promised a refund. I did not receive the refund. I have emailed customer service numerous times and each reply states that "I may call customer service to discuss my issues."
This is an unethical, illegally operating company. I have contacedted the Better Business Fureau, The Federal Trade Commission, The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, The Florida State Attorney General's office, even Rachel Ray and Oprah (who they use for their advertising) advising them of this company.
My advice to anyone is this: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Or, if you have, contact the same agencies that I have to get something done about their illegal actions.
My final thought is: wouldn't it just be easier to refund the money and keep a satisfied customer database, rather than governing authorities investigating them?

What a scam
I ordered a bottle of Pure Acai Berry vitamins. They claimed that it was a free 30 day trial period. That is a lie. No more that 2 to 3 weeks later they charged my bank account 78.81. what a fucking scam. Don't fall for it. Whatever you do don't EVER purchase ANYTHING online. Even if it seems like a good deal DON'T DO IT!!!
Sincerely,
Jessica Raymond

Cancellation
My name is Cheryl Merryman:
I tried calling today, three times to cancel my free trial and any further orders. A gentleman by the name of Sean kept answering acting like he could not hear me. Well, the third time I left a message cancelling my free trial and any further orders. I would like a confirmation number that I have cancelled today Dec.16, 2008. It is very frustrating that you can send us things but when we want to cancel we can't get through to anyone.
I would appreciate a reply and a confirmation number.
Sincerely,
Cheryl Merryman

Customer Service Department
Ordered free trial, Decided I did not want to keep this product. Called customer service at the above number, finally talked to Justin and requested to cancel the free trial. I was told that he would call me back, but never did.
I will be cancelling my bank card to stop this scam...
