Am I the only person who dreads going into the average town centre, because I know that my olfactory system will be cruelly assailed by the stench of fast food vans...sizzling burgers and heaven knows whatelse. The junk and mess they create is bad enough...and need I mention the ill mannered sloath parents and their screaming off spring with their awful eating habits...the smell continues to assail even though you have mannaged to squeeze past the slavering mutant midlanders desperate for a greasy fix...and you never knew that 'starvation' existed in the UK. I find myself wondering "Can these people really not survive until tea time?" Do they have to eat stinking junk food?? It's a toss of a coin as to which makes me feel more ill...the sickly sweet stench of a 'Mr Sizzle' or the obnoxious diesel fumes of buses on tickover...some drivers gleefully choke those standing in the bus shelter whilst poor smokers stand out in the cold...in more ways than one. I find fag smoke irritating but there ARE worse pollutants going unchecked!
