My 9-year old son saved up his money and bought a refurbished Ipod from RefurbDepot.com. After about 6 weeks the Ipod began malfunction and a week later stopped working altogether. I contacted RefurbDepot by email and explained the problem. They told me I needed to a contact company called "Encore" for warranty issues. This surprised me as there was no mention of Encore as the manufacturer or issuer of the Ipod on ReburbDepot's web site. I tried calling Encore numerous times, each time waiting on hold for over 20 minutes. I emailed ReburbDepot again and told them about my inability to reach Encore, the email representative then informed me that my son's Ipod was out of warranty. I bought the ipod on 10/25/08 and it arrived via UPS on 11/4/08. My initial email to RefurdbDepot was on 2/2/09. Although we didn't receive the ipod until 11/4, it began to malfunction in late December 2008, and stopped working altogether in early January 2009, no refund and no offer to help fix the situation was forthcoming from RefurbDepot.
