I contracted with R&S Relocation and Storage for a move from North Carolina to Mississippi in 2006. The salesperson was Paul Spacek. They subcontracted the job to Rich's Van Lines. The movers arrived without weighing the truck first and they refused to do so. The vehicle was also not weighed with the full load. When my furniture arrived in Mississippi a very expensive table was missing. I called Rich's to complain and was told that the item did not exist since the truck was empty. I was also told that the truck was weighed but I did not receive that information to determine payment amount. I also complained to R&S but they would not assist me since I had already paid for the job. Whenever I asked for Mr. Spacek, he was always unavailable. This continued for quite some time until I finally gave up. I should have pursued this further but I have never forgotten it. I am now relocating again and feel compelled to warn anyone else about this company.
