Dr. Nichols maintains an active membership in the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the Acadiana District Dental Association, the Ark-La-Tex Academy of Dentistry, and the Acadian Study Club. He has served as president of the Acadiana District Dental Association and is a Fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy – an international dental honor society. He has also received the Sertoma Club Service to Mankind Award and the Jameson Management Branch of Peace Award. Dr. Nichols serves on the boards of 232-HELP/211 and Mexico Outreach.
