Dr. Nichols maintains an active membership in the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the Acadiana District Dental Association, the Ark-La-Tex Academy of Dentistry, and the Acadian Study Club. He has served as president of the Acadiana District Dental Association and is a Fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy – an international dental honor society. He has also received the Sertoma Club Service to Mankind Award and the Jameson Management Branch of Peace Award.
