I believe it's against the law to sell used clothing unless it's a consignment store.
I purchased a three piece washable pantsuit for $29.99 plus tax.
I did not try the outfit on as usual when I make a purchase @ any store. When I got home and took it out of the bag, it was very ovious that it had been washed because a stain was on the white pants. It had been washed trying to remove the stain but you could still see a residue left there.
I 'm pissed because I used my gas to get to and from the store and needed the outfit for the next day. Unfortunately, I could not wear it.
I called the store and they said to bring it back. So, I have to use my gas and time to carry this item back to the store.
Personally speaking I'm thinking about making serious calls about this. Because I feel that it is unethical to resale clothing that has been worn, washed, returned and sell for the price of $29.99 plus 6.75% tax. Only consignment stores are authorized to do that.
