POOR QUALITY OF CALL CENTERS
I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY 40 INCH LCD TV, I CALLED THE TOLL FREE NO. 180030008282 AND REGISTERED THE COMPLAINT AFTER GIVING ALL THE DETAILS. THE COMPLAINT NO: 8417-252719
THER PERSON SPEAKING TO ME INFORMED ME THAT THE SERVICE CHARGE IS 1000/-RS +10% TAX
BUT TODAY THE SERVICE ENGINEER CAME AND SAID THAT THE SERVICE CHARGE IS 2000/-RS.
I AGAIN CALLED THE TOLL FREE NO: AND TODAY A PERSON NAMED "RAM BABU' SAID THE SAME THING 1000RS/- + 10%TAX. THEN THE SERVICE ENGINEER SPEAKS TO THE CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE AND THEN HE SAYS IT WAS A MISTAKE THE COST IS 2000/- RS. IS THE CALL CENTER PEOPLE SO IRRESPONSIBLY DOING THEIR DUTIES OR IS IT THE WAY THINGS ARE TAKEN WHEN IT COMES TO SAMSUNGS SERVICE AND MAINTAINANCE. I HOPE SAMSUNG HAS SOME IDEA ABOUT WHAT I SPEAK.

Freezer doesn't work
Bought a Samsung refrigerator model RS253BASB 3 years ago from Best Buy. The freezer stopped working all of a sudden. The temperature on the display shows -10 degrees but the freezer is actually warmer than the fridge. Everything inside melted. The temperature on the display is blinking. Of course, samsung won't do anything about it. I would think this unit would last a lot longer especially for the price I paid. I would stay away from this brand. I would never buy anything else from Samsung.

My Samsung camera broke under warrenty, I contacted Samsung and they advised me to send it to ICURE as it was the closest service centre to my home. I contacted ICURE and asked regarding shipping etc and they advised me that if I wanted it shipped for free I had to go online, I advised the person that I was going to post it in but I would pick it up once it was done. I was advised this was fine. I sent off the camera at my own expense with a letter stating to call so I can collect it from the store as well as what was wrong with it and the warranty details.
3 weeks later I received a phone call from my parents that I had something to pick up from the post office that was $12.05, I had no idea what this was so told them to collect it. I called ICURE and was advised that my camera was still in with the technician so thought there was no way it was that. I ask the lady - Stella - to contact me once she had spoken to the technician as I wanted to know when the camera would be ready.
An hour and half later I was called by her saying that it was fixed and had been sent out! This really frustrated me, I wanted to pick the camera up and now I had been charged $12.05 to pick it up. They admitted they shouldn't have sent it but said there was nothing they could do and have since refused to refind they money I outlayed due to their stuff up!
It's not the money, it's the principle, I requested in writing that I was to be called when the camera was fixed and I would pick it up. They not only ignored this request but they did it at my expense!

Poor Service
I purchased samsung(star)mobile on 31.10.09.It didn't work well for even a year. Its touch screen and display got problem inspite of proper care. Then I took the mobile to the authorized samsung moblie service center at T& L Communication, B-5A, First Floor, Behind Bus stop, Kanti Nagar Extn. Delhi-110052, on 09.08.10 for service.On constant visits they return the mobile on 07.09.10, ie. after a month, but the mobile was still not working well. After an hour of receiving it, the mobile starts the same problem.I again went to the same service center for service and till today the moblie was not repaired. I was continuously visiting the center for the mobile but the response was not there.
Samsung being the big International brand, provide this type of service to their customer.
This is very bad that if such a brand gives very poor service. I suggest not to purchase Samsung Mobile.

Broken side by side fridge
I have purchased a Samsung Side by side fridge freezer in June 2009. The united started escalating the temperature to 17 and then later 19 degrees. I reported the unit on Thursday morning the 3rd of September 2009, to Game in Westgate where I purchased it.
I was told that Samsung will phone me and make an appointment to send a technician out. How long will this take. I had to go and borrow a fridge and small caravan freezer from family to put the food in not to let it spoil.
I didn't expect an expensive fridge like this to pack up within three months and then wait weeks for someone to repair it.

DO NOT BUY REFRIGERATOR FOR SAMSUNG !
Smart are those that visit this web site before they purchase a refirgerator these days. Old days of the "plug and play" type product are gone in this catagory. Why because of Company's like SAMSUNG that try to plug in their cheep electronic controls into a product that is more dynamic in "the box" then intertainment gadget "box". Freezer sections are horrfic, Ice makers part fails need the whole Main board, new main boards, control board doesn't interface again when power is shut off on the next turn on etc.. on and on it goes. How would you like to come home from a nice vacation and find out there quick power outage and SAMSUMG FRIGERATOR decided some for awhile too - not reseting - all food spoiled ice stored dumps on to wood floor water migrates under to take the whole floor, out, gone ruined, to be replaced
by A EX SUMSUNG CUSTOMER.
I have another samsung gaget that I like LCD TV. Liked the price too once. Now it is the WOORST TV deal one could one could get for what it costs. The way it works is that SAMSUNG'S LOSS on OTHER LOOSERS PRODUCTS gets picked up by the TV MARKET and maybe a good tv product ? MAYBE IT''S GOOD for you considering the price - Good for you ? THE DEAL SUCKS for me as I like you ok, but not well enough to buy you a SAMSUNG LCD TV
so SAMSUNG can make up it's loss from ALL HORRIBLE PRDUCT COSTS.

screen popped and craked
Bought the 50" Plasma SAMSUNG TV on 02/20/2010 for $1, 399.00 from hhgregg Kennesaw. In July 2010 the screen made a blasting sound and screen went blank. I tried to contact sales person and the manager of the store but they expressed that they cannot help. We tried to contact a TV repair person and he showed us a small crack on the screen and said that if it was not hit by anything it might have caused by A/C humidity or splash of water. We are unable to get any help from the store, teir simple response is 'sorry bad luck'.
We still owe the money to hhgregg financial services.
Please help

Fault In Television
Hello Samsung
I am not your regular customer but by wrongly i have to purchased a Television on July 2009 from Samsung Distributors in Delhi. I want to thankful to you that i realize the actual meaning of customer. There is some technical problem in that Television. I also sent my Television to customer care centre 3 to 4 times but there is no progress in my compliant. Now the warranty of the product has been expired but the problem is as same as earlier. So, i want to ask you that whats my fault in that. I think my fault is that i have to purchased your product. I want to say thank to you that you reliaze me that in future dont purchase your any product & dont beleive in your services.
