San Antonio Computer Doctor Reviews

Repair
I took my computer in to and talked with Scott and gave him detailed information concerning my computer (Dell Laptop). I was having problems and that it only wanted to be started in the Safe mode. That I had called Dell and found out a new hard drive would cost $99 and that my computer was old and I wasn't wanting to spend a lot of money getting it fixed, I was hoping it would last until the new Windows 7 came out. I thought maybe it had a virus and even brought in my Norton box. I was told that he would only charge $39 unless they had to go into the computer. I told him that I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I had already called Dell and wasn't willing to buy a new hard drive. They were suppose to call and give me an extimate (they didn't) After a week they called and said my computer was fixed and ready to be picked up. I was told that it had some corrputed files. I paid the $79 without even questioning why they didn't call about the estimate because I didn't think it was too much to pay. I got the computer home and it wouldn't start -- it was doing the same thing it did when I took it in there. I called and they said it was under warranty to bring it back. No other paper work was filled out. Another week and I received a voice mail saying my computer (adding insult to injury) wasn't Worth Fixing Because it Was Too Old -- the same thing I told them to begin with. I returned to the store and requested they refund me $40 and was denied that. I was told Scott would have to approve that -- he has not even bothered to call me which I requested. A company who does business like this should not be in business -- I don't think they will last. People who have no moral ethic don't succeed for long. I hope he's 45 when he realizes this. I view him as a thief and maybe I'm lucky he only got $79. One other thing, another customer totally smashed his front door in and I went ahead and took my computer in there -- Big Big Mistake on my Part. However -- Cudos to the guy who broke his window - I''d say he had it coming!!!
