I have run into a brick wall in trying to deal with Sears /Citi bank in resolving a credit card issue of my mother-in-law. Card # 5121 0797 4231 2629. I can mail by USpostal my entire complaint . a Synopsis is that I tried to work out a reasonable payment schedule with them on the card while it was current and active, They told me that they couldn't do that because it was current. I closed the account and then tried to work with them. They told me that it looked good for me on last Friday and to call back Monday. When I called today I was told that she didn't qualify to work out anything because she had cancelled her card (and was current) They had raised her interest rate to29.99% Her last payment was $236.98 and she received $2.21 credit toward the balance and was charged$234.77 interest. She is 81 years old and I am trying to help My name is Vidal L. Jones II----------Please advise
