We signed up in December for the program. This is the first of April and we have paid monthly fees of $39 for a ryder with extra services. We cancelled another policy to take this one out to supplement our Medicare part A and B. We are now told that we never called to confirm the policy and both my wife and I called together so now we have no supplemetal insurance and they cashed the checks for the additional insurance. I have not had insurance for 3 months from them and I only found out from the original agent. after she read her report on her services. The company never notified me of anything.Their answer is tough luck. You didn't reply. We did and do have proof and they are guilty of theft of services and breaking a contract. At least it's the law. They also have my permission for electronic fund transfer. So I'll see how that goes. United healthcare won't offer anything. Not even the money they stole. So I have to be healthy the next 9 months so I can get a reputable supplememtal plan.
i will pursue this matter in court. AARP is not any help at this point.
Our next step is thru the legal system. Folks, this is real and these people ask me if I can prove it when i have cancelled checks they deposited and other proof. They are arrogant. I was a government contract officer before I retired. they meassed with the wrong old man.
