We received a "Winning Final Notification" from Shoppers Sweepstakes indicating we'd won $250, 000.00. They included a check for $4980.00 to cover processing and "payment of applicable Government Taxes". They indicate the tax amount is $2995.00 "to be paid by either Moneygram or Western Union". The names of the people listed on the check are 'Lewis McGregor' and 'Mary Peters(Promotion Manager)'. This was forwarded by ;

Just like others, we were very suspicious, expecially since we make a habit of NOT entering sweepstakes of any kind. We will be reporting this to the Attorney General's office and the Secretary of State's office for our state.
