We received a postcard inviting us to a dinner to learn how to cut energy costs. The product to be installed was home insulation enhancement. The rep came to our home, late, and spend almost two hours reciting a litany of contradictory information. He also called someone, "his son", to come "in a few minutes" to take a look at our house. He must have rented this son, who was obviously a Mexican laborer, who arrived about 30 minutes later.
We finally asked them to leave -- said there was a family emergency. They still wanted to keep talking. The product is questionable. The home sales call would have been threatening to older citizens like us, if we hadn't invited a younger friend - a successful sales professional - to join us at the meeting.

At the dinner, the presenter made a big deal of saying they had top rating with the Better Business Bureau. At our home, their rep said they had no complaints when it came to getting their money back, NOTHING about how they operated with prospective customers!
