Poor service!
My name is Aparna Goyal and I am a resident of Baghpat (U.P.). I have a joint account with my brother in Baghpat branch of SBI. I applied for ATM card to the bank and got the same but with misspelled name. I want to get the name spelled correctly but can find no ways to do that. People at the bank suggest me to work with same or open a new account. I did not find it convincing and tried to gain more information from the toll free number of SBI helpline, but neither that responded.
I request the authorities to look in the matter as soon as possible. I would provide any information required from my part for the appropriate action.

Atm cum debit card
I have a savings account with state bank of india, branch-guwahati-geetanagar. Inspire of applying for an atm cum debit card for about four times , i have not received a card till now. I had also lodged a complaint in the sbi bank website. But no one contacted me till now.

Poor service!
I am trying to reach the Bank where I had an account while I was in India as I want to deposit some money. If I happen to call the customer service ,no one picks up and if they do then they just keep on passing line from one person to another saying that for Saving call this line for loan this line and... If one calls the lines they mention no one ever picks up the phone...
While Globalization is in its full swing and competition is the key if we still have such banks working the way banking should had been in Stone Age, I think our government need to think once again...

Internet banking problems
I have submitted the internet banking form in SBI for 3-months ago for internet username and password. I was told that within 10-days I will receive the same. But its is more than 3 months are over and I am still waiting for the username and password for SBI online banking.
I do not know whats the reason behind this. But this is true SBI employee are careless and irresponsible. Sure I am looking for some other banking options.

Credit card card applications
I have applied for a State Bank Of India Credit card 1 month back. I was promised that the card will be delivered in 15 days time. So far I have not received the card and on the toll free number nobody is answering my call. Even the agency thru which I have applied is not helping me with this as they have joined some other Bank.

I request you to write the following few liens for your kind information and early action. I am ziaullahG Account no 01190016698 in your bank, I open this account for last 8 months before. But I am sorry to complaint that I didn’t receive ATM card now. I am native of rayadrug and as I study at Hyderabad I open this account only for the purpose of ATM. So that my parent debit the amount and I withdraw hear. I sorry to say that I didn’t get satisfaction compare to other commercial banks. I request once please issue my ATM debit card as early as possible.

Sending draft not reached
Myself am Baburaj A.K NRE Account holder of state bank of india in bangalore branch code 4767. My A/C No. 10031492004, since 2003. I am dealing account with above branch.
I would like to submit some complaint about my money transaction on 01 of may 2007. I have been sent Rs. 30000/-(Thirty Thousand) from Dubai to my wife's Account No. SB 10031437246 under the name of K. Jayasree Baburaj at above branch. After 15 days, the bank credited on my wife's Account only Rs. 20000/- instead of Rs.30000/-. At the same time my wife was reported to the Bank Manger and the manager promised her the balance amount Rs. 10000/- will be credited on 21st of may 2007 and explained the problem occurred the cause of technical defect of ATM. I sent an email to the branch manager on 22nd of may, but no response about the mail apart from him. But till to date the above mentioned money not been credited in the Account. Whenever my wife inquired about the balance , the bank authority giving us the extension dates only. I feel the sufficient action not been taken by the Bank.

Credit card renewal problem
I have applied for the renewal of my sbi credit card as my previous card has been expired on 04/07. I was scheduled to receive the credit card which i didn't receive and the renewal charges has been deducted but i haven't received my credit card. I have lodged a complaint but no action has been taken place. Very poor service.

Regarding transaction right
Myself is Inspector Abhinav. I have an saving account at SRINAGAR Branch, DELHI No. 30021612994. Nearly three weeks ago I have applied for Internet Banking. They gave me the user name and password for the same but till now they haven't give me the transaction right online. I visited the branch couple of time but no avail. My brother has an account in ICICI bank from the last five years but till date he hasn't seen his branch office. All his works has done online. That is the main differences between the private and public sector banks. My view is that all public sector banks should be made private. Then there is a smooth functioning of the banks.

SBI banking procedure issue
I need some clarifications reg the STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI) Banking procedure. I am working as a software engineer in Bangalore.Also i am holding my Salary A/c in ICICI.And my native place is Gobichettipalayam my parents are in my native. So i planned to Open an savings A/c in SBI - Gobichettipalayam Branch (Erode Dist). During the month of January - 07.
When i Approached the Bank manager first time he did not replied properly also he replied as "i am having ICICI so he will he will not open new A/c for me in SBI".I had all the required documents including PAN card & also reference ( Existing SBI A/c Holder). Then finally opened the Account with the help of a small boy who is working in a Tea-Stall Opp to the Bank & his Age is around 15-16 Yrs who is supplying tea to the bank workers everyday
Then after opening the A/c i just wanted to Activate the Internet banking for the same A/c. And also i gave the request for the Cheque book. But the manager refused to give both of them.When i asked about enabling the online account he said he wont enable that & also his reply was very blunt & rubbish.
So i just wanted to know is there any written rule like for opening A/c in SBI we should be relative or close friend of the manager ? And also for enabling the Online Account is there any rule like we need to show many transactions ?
Can anyone please Clear my Clarifications & correct me if anything i am wrong here.
