Breaks Fair Debt Collection Practices

Stuart Allan & Associates has been calling me, leaving messages without identifying the company name.

This is AGAINST the FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT. A collection agency must identify the company name and location when calling.

Further, my attorney has written several "Cease and Desist" letters to Stuart Allan & Associates.

This is AGAINST the FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT. When a Cease and Desist letter has been sent to a credit collection agency, they must STOP ALL CONTACT.

Harrassment

I have recieved at least 10 calls from Stuart Allan & Associates. On two occasions I have called the number left on my phone voice mail and was told I am not the person they are asking for, which I knew, as I have no outstanding payments with anyone and the name of the person they are asking for is no one I know. I was told my phone number was listed as a "secondary number" on the account and that it had been removed. However, I continue to receive calls. I received a call again today and when I called the representative literally raised his voice at me and told me not to "call him again." Certainly I have no reason to; however, the continued calls are harrassing in nature.
